We are a local dramatic group based in the village of Auchenblae in the North East of Scotland.

After reforming the group in 2006 we have gone from strength to strength. We started off strongly with Martin Downing's "Frankenstein's Guests" and have tried since then to present something new for the Auchenblae audience.

We have extended our repertoire of One Act Plays, performed a classic Christmas play, held our inaugral Auchenfest weekend festival of the performing arts and last year enjoyed our first Pantomime. If you want to see how they all looked then have a look in the Past Performances section Past Productions.

We have been slowly but surely reinvesting in the community of Auchenblae. We are a not for profit society and the hours, days, weeks and months of work that have gone into the performances have been worthwhile and our fund raising is progressing well. So far we have managed to enhance the Village Hall with curtains, tabs, legs and backdrops thanks to funds from performances, a donation from our esteemed Roy Vobes and a lot of hard work from Sandy Noble and April Pressley. Our fund raising 80's theme murder mystery evening in April has taken us a step closer to being able to fund a professional set of lights for future performances. We have yet to fully price our requirements and to approach funding bodies to fill any shortfall but we will hopefully be in a position to complete this in the next year.

We have a diverse and talented membership which allows us to undertake the full rigours of producing and performing our plays. This includes set design, construction, writing, directing, costumes, makeup and lest we forget some impressive acting.

We are always on the lookout for new members and you don't have to be the most confident people in the world. We want you to come along to our meetings on Wednesday nights at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall Meeting Room. Contact the Chairman or the Secretary for further information.
